PA Musical Bingo

It was ‘listen up’ and ‘eyes down’ for parents attending the PA’s Musical Bingo Night in the Wilberforce Hall on Saturday 24 January.  There was an exuberant atmosphere as snacks, food and drinks were enjoyed while everyone’s favourite tunes were played.  Concentration and conferring took place to recognise each brief track extract as every round ran through up to 45 chart hits.

Eight games were played with everyone having their own bingo sheet of fifteen titles to listen out for in each round. It was a lively evening as parents checked off their chart-toppers hoping to be the first to call out a line or a full house and win a prize! 

There were almost 360 song clips played over the course of the evening including rounds of ‘cheesiest hits’ and ‘karaoke classics’ with much singing along to legendary Number Ones such as Sweet Caroline, We Will Rock You and many others!  Favourites from the last 50 years sounded out and, as the evening closed, parents went home with a jukebox of tunes in their heads ready to review their playlists.
