Paddington Inspires Year 2
Last week, 2L presented a lovely assembly to the Pre-Prep all about what families mean to them, linking beautifully to their Global Question: “What does home mean to me?”
The children shared their thoughts on the importance of family, love, and belonging — all the things that make a house a home. They also reflected on Paddington Bear, who left his home in Peru to find a new family in London.
To celebrate Paddington’s Peruvian roots, our lunch menu featured a special dish — Pollo a la Brasa, a delicious Peruvian-style chicken marinated in a traditional sauce. And for dessert, there was Marmalade Cake, which we’re sure would be one of Paddington’s favourites!
It was a wonderful day full of warmth, reflection, and a touch of Paddington’s charm.
