Philosophy Man Elicits Deep Thought
6S were treated to a visit from the ‘Philosophy Man’ Tom Bigglestone this week to carry out a special wellbeing lesson, similar to that which they are carrying out in the senior school. After some warming up games, children worked in groups and a class to explore and discuss a range of actions that they had to rank in order of ‘naughtiness’. Children were encouraged to reason and explain their opinions. It was evident that the questions posed got them thinking as these discussions were still being had in the playground at lunch time.
