Reception Parents’ Football Match Fun!

On Friday 22 May the weather was hot and so was the competition between the Reception Class parent football teams Dyer and Veysey!

With over 100 spectators of families, children, and staff, cheering them on, the players took to the field refereed by Senior Headmaster Ceri Jones. Despite the scorching temperatures and the self-confessed lack of training, of some, the teams put on a great show, with team Veysey taking an early lead, which continued throughout the match – the final score being 6-1 to Team Veysey.  

Two yellow cards were issued to Cachia and Zielinski, with fines paid to the Caterham School Transformational Bursaries Fund, to find out more about this work please click here Support Us – Caterham School  

It was a great evening of football, community spirit and fun. We would like to say a big thank you to Team Captains Robbie Cahia (Veysey) and Dilan Patel (Dyer) and Robbie, Pieter Randall and Jon Speary for helping facilitate the organisation and development of the event.
