Recycle and Reuse at Gardening Club
The theme for today’s Gardening Club was recycle and reuse. The children sliced up some over ripe old cherry tomatoes and planted them in some recycled plant pots. For labels we cut up old plastic milk containers so we can identify who is going to grow the champion tomato plant. It was also good to see our first seedlings emerge from the chilli and tomato trays. The potato patch has also seen its first crops pop up thanks to the great mixture of sunshine and rain we have been experiencing.
