Rising Stars Shine at Rush Hour Concert

Caterham Prep’s latest Rush Hour Concert was a wonderful celebration of the musical talent, enthusiasm and growing confidence of our young performers.

There was a real sense of excitement as pupils took to the stage, with each performance providing an opportunity to share something they have been working hard on in their lessons. For some, performing in front of an audience is already becoming second nature, while for others it represents an important and courageous step in their musical journey. It was lovely to see every performer rise to the occasion and enjoy their moment in the spotlight.

These concerts are about so much more than playing the right notes. They give our young musicians the chance to develop confidence, resilience and the ability to communicate through music, as well as experiencing the excitement and enjoyment that comes from performing for others.

Nearly all of the performers learn their instruments with our fantastic team of Visiting Music Teachers, whose expertise, encouragement and enthusiasm help our pupils to flourish. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated team nurturing our musicians and inspiring the next generation of Caterham Prep’s rising stars.

A huge well done to everyone who performed. It was a joyful concert and a lovely reminder of just how much musical talent is growing at Caterham Prep.
