Ron Ayers MBE Presents Bloodhound Prizes
Last Friday Years 3 and 4 pupils saw the return of Mr Ron Ayers, MBE along with his son Mr Roger Ayers. The children were treated to a wonderful overview of the landspeed record project again before the top distances and times from the Bloodhound workshop challenge for each year group were awarded. Winners were presented with signed posters from Andy Green (driver of the landspeed record), Ron Ayers (chief aerodynamics specialist) and British adventurer Richard Noble. Inspirational stuff!!
