Rugby Season Starts in Fine Style
The rugby season got off to a fine start last week with all year groups getting their campaigns off in style. The under 8’s were fantastic against Reigate winning all their games. Their handling and lines of running were brilliant; the boys were disciplined in their defence and showed a great understanding of the game. The under 9’s experienced their first games of contact in some conditioned games with Reigate. The tackling was phenomenal and just like the under 8’s their passing and lines of running were well disciplined. It was a fantastic afternoon of rugby for both schools learning what contact rugby was all about.
The 10 and Under 11’s enjoyed a successful afternoon against Banstead winning all their matches. The boys played some good expansive rugby and there is a lot to feel positive about going forward for the rest of the season.
