Rugged Robot Gets an Upgrade
If you follow Mr Lang’s Prep Innovation channel on X, you will have seen his post a couple of weeks ago about a group of problem solving pupils and our vertically challenged Rugged Robot! The post read “Pupils trying to get their Rugged Robot up a steep, muddy hill at playtime decided to design and 3D print their own caterpillar tracks to give it better grip. V3 (with added studs) going into production today and we’re only on Day 3!” This week, good news that the upgrade project is… on track. V4 of the caterpillar section (and v3 of the locking pins) from a growing collaborative pupil team, all working in clubs and spare time to extend their classroom skills. The result?
