Senior Musicians Entertain Local Care Home Residents

A group of our Year 5 and 6 musicians visited a local care home in Warlingham earlier this week, where they performed a varied programme for the residents.
There was a good mix of instruments and styles. Kiera played both piano and flute, Nyah performed beautifully on the cornet, and Zoe played two contrasting clarinet pieces.

Noah played some of his Grade 3 piano pieces, and Isabella sang a song in German and another in Italian, which held everyone’s attention.

The visit was very warmly received, and it was clear how much the residents enjoyed the live music. The pupils performed really well, and it was lovely to see how they connected with their audience. It was a rewarding experience for everyone involved and a nice reminder of how much music can bring people together.
