Settling into School Life…

Our Reception children have settled into the Caterham family brilliantly and have made such a positive start to their school journey. It has been wonderful to see them growing in confidence each day as they begin to feel at home in their new surroundings. 
 
The children have been developing lovely friendships, learning to share and take turns, and showing great kindness and consideration towards one another. They have been busy exploring the school environment, discovering new spaces and resources, and approaching each day with a wonderful sense of curiosity and enthusiasm. 

The new outdoor area has been a particular highlight! The children absolutely love spending time outside and are always eager to get outdoors whenever possible. They have been busy exploring, investigating, building, creating and developing their physical skills through a wide range of imaginative play. It has been fantastic to see the children making the most of this wonderful space, while developing their independence, teamwork and confidence along the way. 
 
It has been a joy to watch our Reception children settle so happily into school life. They have already become an important part of our Caterham community, and we are incredibly proud of the positive, confident and curious start they have made. We are very much looking forward to seeing all that they will discover, learn and achieve as the year progresses!
