Singing in the Spirit of Christmas

Singing in the Spirit of Christmas

It was wonderful to welcome so many families to this year’s Prep School Carol Service at URC, Caterham this week. Marking the lead up to Christmas, it was filled with festive spirit and wonderful performances, each year group contributed their own special touch.

Year 3 opened the service with Stable under a Star, setting the tone beautifully. Year 4 followed with their delightful performance of Christmas Time, while Year 5 brought energy and brightness with Torches. The year group performances concluded with Year 6 delivering a heartfelt version of Silent Night, leaving the congregation moved and inspired.

Year 6 pupils also took on the significant responsibility of presenting all the readings, poems, and prayers, demonstrating confidence and maturity throughout.

Adding to the magic, the Treble Makers and Senior Singers choirs performed with enthusiasm and polish, and the stunning Angels’ Carol from Junior ETS was a highlight of the evening.

The Carol Service was a wonderful showcase of talent and community spirit, marking the perfect start to the festive season.
