Sixth Formers Share Passions with Year 6
Year 6 received a visit from a group of Oxbridge hopefuls currently in the sixth form at Caterham Senior School this week. They had prepared presentations with a variety of topics based on their areas of interest to teach and inspire our children. We had everything from philosophical discussions about ‘What is nothing?’ and ‘What is reality?’ to learning about debates in parliament and the justice system and even the ins and outs of architecture including how the Eiffel Tower came to be. It was amazing to hear that that it was created as a result of being chosen as the winning design in a competition at the World’s Fair at the end of the nineteenth century!
