Spanish Starters and Speakers
Year 6 have enjoyed discovering the joys of the Spanish language. Mr Parker and Ms Ellis have been introducing the basics of the alphabet, numbers, describing oneself and others and how to describe our school. This is mixed with cultural information about Spain and Latin America. Learning about how to make an authentic paella seemed very popular!
Some of our fluent Spanish speakers have been working on a separate podcast discussing topics such as Spanish cuisine in different Spanish speaking countries, or why there are so many different Spanish accents along with discovering the different cuisines used in Peru. They are incredibly enthusiastic and are thrilled to be able to use their excellent language knowledge to a higher level.
