Spelling Shed Strategies
Year 5 have embraced learning their spellings using the new Spelling Shed resources. They have been introduced through different strategies, including syllable mapping, identifying individual sounds, learning meanings, as well as the origin of a couple of the words from their weekly list. Later in the week, they will focus on identifying synonyms and antonyms, alongside their usual English lessons.
