Superheroes Save Planet Earth!

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils became eco-superheroes this week as they took part in an energetic Superheroes Eco-Drama Workshop. 
 
Joining forces with superhero Supa Dupa, the children were set an important mission: to help save Planet Earth from pollution, waste and the mischievous Bad Boppa! Through drama, movement, storytelling and plenty of superhero action, the children discovered how everyone has the power to make a positive difference to our planet. 
 

Along the way, our young superheroes explored the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling, thinking about the small choices we can all make to look after the environment. They worked together to solve problems, joined in with role-play and physical drama activities, and used their speaking and listening skills as they tackled their eco-mission. 
 
The workshops were a wonderful combination of learning and fun, helping the children to develop their confidence, communication, teamwork and creativity, while reinforcing an important message about environmental responsibility. 
 
Most importantly, the children discovered that you don’t need a cape or superpowers to help save the planet – small actions from all of us can make a big difference! 
 
ZAP! BOING! SWOOSH! Mission accomplished, Eco-Superheroes!
