The Big Battery Hunt is On!
As part of the eco-work in the school, we are joining in with the Big Battery Hunt again this year. The BIG BATTERY HUNT is a nationwide recycling challenge, inspiring pupils to power change across their schools and wider communities. Now in its fifth year, the BIG BATTERY HUNT is bigger and better than ever! We will, once again, be running a class competition and looking for a winning class in both Prep and Pre-Prep. Parents can help by sending in used batteries with your child to add to their class totals.
A graph will be produced showing the class totals. We will be collecting batteries until 12 June, when the competition ends. Regular updates will be posted in Prep News showing how each class is doing. Please do take this opportunity to discuss the importance of recycling with your children. Each class will be shown resources about this from their form tutor so they should be able to tell you a little bit about it.
