The Caterham Ukrainian Support Team Extend Thanks
We just wanted to say an enormous thank you to everyone who donated and bought presents for the Caterham Ukrainian Christmas Appeal. As usual the response was amazing – meaning that every child and mum who attended our Christmas party was given a special Santa gift. It’s been a pretty dark time for many of the families, so being able to provide some Christmas joy and spirit was very much appreciated. We also wanted to thank everyone who has donated items, such as coats, thermals, blankets and medicines. These were all passed on to the White Eagle Appeal and then packed on the lorries from Croydon and delivered to Ukraine to help people and soldiers in hospital through the harsh winter. Everyone’s ongoing support and generosity has been extremely heartwarming and has allowed us to continue to do the work that we do – supporting Ukraine. And as always, a big thank you to the Caterham School bakers who once again came up trumps and baked and delivered a wonderful selection of Christmas cakes and biscuits for everyone to enjoy.
