Turtle Talk at Eco Warriors
Our Eco Warriors and other interested pupils were treated to a talk from Mrs Dunn about her experiences with turtles. Having studied Biology and lived in Papua New Guinea researching fish for Cornel University, it was wonderful to share some of her expert knowledge! She spent a delightful hour explaining the dangers to turtles, where they fit into the animal kingdom and things that we can do to help save the turtles from becoming extinct. The children were absolutely enthralled and asked very sensible and intelligent questions. They are now inspired to act on the things that they have learned. Thank you Mrs Dunn!
