U9 Boys on the Ball
The U9 football season got off to a fantastic start last Thursday with 3 comprehensive wins against Lingfield College. The A team won 4-0, the B team 6-1 and the C team 7-0. The team of the week were the C team who have worked so hard at their football. Great to see Alex S get 4 goals and Pierre a hat trick.
On Saturday the U9 played in our own U9 festival. The boys started very strongly but with a string of missed chances in the later games we missed out on the cup and lost on penalties in the plate final despite dominating the game. We will be doing lots of finishing practice this week!
