Weather Doesn’t Play Fair at Fixtures

On Tuesday, rain prevented play for our U8s who were due to face Aberdour.  Hopefully, all will be fine next week as they travel to Reigate St Mary. The U11A and U10A netballers had a return visit to the senior school to play some round robin matches.  It had been several weeks since the girls last played netball but they were up for the challenge and the prep teams came away with some great results:

U11A v U12A/B   lost 1-4

U11A v U12C       won 6-4

U11A v U12D      won 6-0

U10A v U12 pink  won 3-2

U10A v U12 blue  won 6-0

The U11 and U9 football teams were away to Aberdour on this week, and although the opposition came away winners on the day, the score lines did not reflect the games. A particular shoutout to the U9A team who dominated the play in their game, with strong passes and determined runs throughout the midfield from Annika S and Cora R, and Tahlia G and Beatrix B aggravating the opposition defence, Caterham were denied many goal opportunities by a fearless opposition goalkeeper. The team will meet Aberdour again on Saturday at the Caterham festival.

Next week, the U8s and U10s travel to Reigate St Mary and the U11s and U9s kick off the House Football series.
