Wonderful Worms Under the Magnifying Glass
The Pre Prep Children have enjoyed investigating worms over the past week. They have learnt that worms can live up to 6 years, breathe through their skin and have no eyes and ears! Worms are truly magical! Without them, we would not have soil to grow vegetables and trees, without trees there would be no oxygen produced for us to breathe! The children were amazed to learn that worms cannot live in deserts as they are too hot and dry. We then enjoyed looking for worms under logs and investigating how worms look under magnifying glasses. The children then made their own worms using playdough.
