Year 2 Explore, Develop, Grow and Evolve

Year 2 have made a wonderful start to our new EDGE lessons – Explore, Develop, Grow and Evolve. In our first session, the children had lots of fun exploring a range of familiar games, including Jenga, Snakes and Ladders, Squares, Noughts and Crosses and Connect 4. 
Through these games, the children developed a range of important skills, including taking turns, sharing, listening carefully, communicating with others, working collaboratively and solving problems. They also explored the importance of playing fairly, celebrating one another’s successes and responding positively to different outcomes. 

It was lovely to see the children encouraging one another, sharing ideas and enjoying the opportunity to learn together. We are excited to continue developing these skills through our EDGE programme.
