Year 2 Visit Drusilla’s

The Year 2 trip to Drusilla’s Zoo was an exciting and fun filled day. We saw lots of amazing animals, including some noisy monkeys, curious meerkats and playful otters! The children enjoyed walking through the zoo, learning interesting facts about how the animals live and what they eat. A highlight of the trip was taking part in a habitats and adaptations workshop, where we reinforced our learning this term about how different animals survive in their environments and what makes them special. The children loved the opportunity to stroke a snake and chinchilla! Everyone had a great time and it was a fantastic opportunity to extend our learning outside the classroom.
