Year 2’s Rosa Parks Workshop

Year 2 enjoyed an engaging and informative Rosa Parks workshop delivered by George from One Day Creative Workshops. The session linked closely to their global work, where they have been learning about significant historical people and the impact they have had on the world. 

The workshop began with a range of fun warm-up activities and incorporated movement throughout, helping the children to learn key facts about Rosa Parks’ life and her significant contributions to the Civil Rights Movement. 
 
The children demonstrated excellent listening skills and were able to recall important information during the workshop. They particularly enjoyed asking thoughtful questions and deepening their understanding of Rosa Parks and the impact of her actions. It was wonderful to see the children so actively involved and enthusiastic about their learning throughout the session.
