Year 3 Learn Road Safety Skills

Last week, our Year 3s participated in Surrey County Council’s Feet First programme, designed to teach road safety skills for safer walking to and from school. The course combined classroom lessons with practical roadside sessions, covering key topics such as the Green Cross Code, recognising safe and unsafe places to cross, and understanding pedestrian crossings. Delivered by walking instructors, the programme aimed to prepare the children for independent travel and promote active, healthy lifestyles.
