Year 4 EDGE Project Showcase
Year 4 have been working incredibly hard on their EDGE projects this term and were excited to share their finished work this week. Linking their projects to their Global studies on Natural Disasters, Climate Change and the Kings and Queens of Great Britain, each pupil chose a question that was of interest to them and investigated it in depth through a creative mixed-media project.
The variety and quality of the outcomes were fantastic. Pupils produced artwork, quizzes, newspaper articles, short documentaries, PowerPoint presentations, videos, video news reports, board games, science experiments and even a homemade Top Trumps game.
Throughout the project, pupils developed valuable research, presentation and communication skills, while also strengthening their creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, digital literacy and project management skills. They showed impressive independence and initiative as they planned, created and shared their work with others.
The showcase was a wonderful celebration of curiosity, creativity and learning, and Year 4 should be very proud of all they have achieved.
