Year 6 Explore Conflict Through Drama

This term, Year 6 pupils will be exploring the powerful and thought-provoking theme of conflict through drama, as they prepare for their upcoming Remembrance performance. Throughout their work, pupils will be making meaningful links across the Global and English curriculums, exploring ideas, stories and perspectives while developing their understanding through creative performance. This week, pupils have approached their learning with thoughtfulness and confidence, embracing the opportunity to explore a more serious and challenging topic. Working collaboratively across the year group, they have been problem-solving, creating and communicating through drama, developing both their individual ideas and those of their peers. It has been wonderful to see pupils rise to the challenge with such maturity, focus and enthusiasm, demonstrating a growing confidence in using drama as a powerful way to explore complex themes and share meaningful messages.
