Activities

We aim to make learning an exciting adventure, full of opportunities for personal development, achievement and enjoyment. We want to provide an education for life, giving our students the knowledge, skills and values they need to create their own successes as thoughtful and confident individuals in the world beyond.

Music is a large part of school life. Every child in Year 2 experiences playing the violin or viola.  In Years 3 and 4 all children learn to play play a woodwind and brass instrument and in Years 5 and 6 they learn to play the ukulele and guitar. In addition, our visiting music teachers are available to give individual lessons on a wide range of instruments.  Drama is also a strong aspect of our co-curricular programme and, of course, Sports play a significant role in school life.
